Salt air is the other factor, because it is what ends a door near the water, and it decides between steel and aluminium. Headroom occasionally rules a sectional door out, and we check that while we are there.

Then we bring physical samples with us to the free measure, so you can hold the real colour against your cladding and your roof, in the light the door will actually live in. A screen never quite matches what ends up on the wall, which is why we do both rather than one.
